Hi Clark Dems,

I’m Sabrina Torres, and I’m running for Recording Secretary because I believe the small things aren’t actually small. Clear notes, timely communication, and organized follow-through are what keep our movement strong, and our people connected. That’s where I thrive. 

I’m a small business owner and marketing consultant, and I spend my days helping clients communicate better, look sharper, and stay on track. I currently serve as the secretary on the executive board for Emerge Nevada and also hold leadership roles as the James B. McMillan SOT Chair, President of The Coves HOA, and your District C Representative for the Clark County Democrats. These roles have taught me that behind every powerful message or well-run meeting is someone making sure the details are handled with care and precision. That’s what I love to do.

I’m running for Recording Secretary because I’ve found my lane. I’m the person who can jump in last minute, bring structure to chaos, and make sure the team feels supported and informed. I take pride in how I listen, how I document, and how I follow up. It’s not just about writing things down, it’s about making sure nothing gets lost and no one feels left out.

I didn’t grow up in politics, but I found my place through Emerge Nevada after attending a Vegas Chamber mixer. My community work really began when I saw firsthand how underserved families were being overlooked in our public schools. I realized I had the flexibility, the tools, and the voice to advocate for others, and I’ve been doing that ever since.

If elected, I’m ready to bring that same energy, clarity, and dedication to our board. I’m proud of what our previous leadership accomplished, and I’m excited to pick up where they left off, in a role that fits my strengths and reflects who I am at my core.

To me, being a Democrat means believing in equity, showing up for one another, and building toward a future that works for everyone. I’m honored to be part of this community, and I would love the opportunity to serve you as Recording Secretary.
