Rebuild the Clark County Democratic Party Structure

  • Recruit Democrats to fill the six standing committees

  • Improve commission district organization and evaluate precinct system feasibility

  • Host organizing events for CCCC members, clubs and caucuses, and voters

    • Social events

    • Electeds/Candidate forums

    • Voter education and issue/theme events

Improve and Streamline Communications

  • Create a robust communication and outreach plan including the use of new tools and technologies where needed

  • Focus the CCDP as a central point of communication, invitation, volunteering and involvement for all Democrats and organizations 

  • Update and improve the website, calendar of events, and social media presence on existing and new platforms

  • Amplify and coordinate events across the Democratic sphere including Club and Caucus events, candidate events, community events, and CCDP-planned events

Support our Democratic Clubs and Caucuses

  • Invigorate the Clubs and Caucuses by: 

    • Prioritizing membership drives through coordination with District Reps to identify and recruit voters from each Commission District

    • Holding quarterly Club and Caucus leader retreats and trainings

    • Ensuring Party support by attending Club and Caucus meetings and events

Expand Political Organizing

  • Create a sustainable, ongoing county-wide organizing and outreach plan

  • Intensify coordination with Democratic candidates and elected representatives at Commission District levels

  • Train commission representatives and executive board on VAN

  • Coordinate with the executive board and commission representatives to:

    • Visualize and create district-level field plans tailored to each area’s demographics and makeup

    • Become VAN literate to track and implement commission district field plans

    • Become proficient in registered voter list generation, voter cultivation, and voter tracking

  • Coordinate with the County Party Committees to:

    • Widen the circle of people involved

    • Identify volunteers

    • Implement voter registration and engagement activities

    • Analyze and select specific locations of importance to hold events and boost party visibility

    • Build the VAN tracking database conservation system for future sustainability
